Macomb County is home to several key industries. The largest and most widely recognized is manufacturing. In 2011 alone, the MCPED’s clients invested nearly $105 million in new and expanded facilities, machinery and equipment, and created or retained more than 3,000 jobs.

Macomb’s economy continues to diversify and expand. Many cutting-edge design and engineering firms are located here, and in recent years, service related industries have grown substantially.
