Macomb County Clerk / Register of Deeds Carmella Sabaugh offers a program that provides jurors with library books from any library in the county.

Thank you for fulfilling your obligation to serve our Macomb County as a juror. In order to make your experience more pleasant, Macomb County Clerk / Register of Deeds Carmella Sabaugh and the Mount Clemens Public Library have partnered to provide free reading material to jurors. Please follow the steps below to request reading material. The items you request will be waiting for you when you arrive for jury duty. This service is free of charge and is our way of thanking you for doing your civic duty. |
1) Search for the reading material you wish to request.

3) Arrive for jury duty on your scheduled day.
- When you arrive in Mount Clemens for jury duty on your scheduled day, your books will be waiting for you. If for some reason the reading material you request is not available, you will receive a telephone call or E-mail and you may request another item. Macomb County Clerk / Register of Deeds Carmella Sabaugh and Mount Clemens Public Library Director Donald Worrell examine a book that is part of the permanent deposit collection housed in the Macomb County Jury Room. Sabaugh and Worrell recently announced a program that provides jurors with library books from any library in the county and reduces costs to county taxpayers.
