The Village of New Haven is located in northeastern Macomb County. The Village, with a land area of 2.5 square miles, comprises the largest incorporated area in Lenox Township.

Between 1980 and 2000 New Haven was one of the fastest growing communities north of Twenty-six Mile Road in the County. The Village of New Haven lies in a favorable position in regard to transportation networks. The nearby Interstate 94 provides rapid access to I-696, Detroit and Canada.
