Change Display Properties

The following instructions are for changing your display properties in Microsoft Windows 2000. All the Windows operatings systems allow you to change your display properties in a similar fashion. This instruction is not to be considered the only way to change your display properties. Consult the Microsoft Corporation or Macintosh .

  1. Go to your computer's desktop.

  2. Right click the any where on the desktop. When the pop up menu appears, select the "Properties" option.

  3. Click on the tab labeled "Settings".

  4. At the bottom right corner of the popup window there is a box labeled "Screen Area". Move the slider to the right until the label above reads "1024 x 768" Click the "OK" button.

  5. Click the "OK" button for the message box confirming the change.

  6. Another message box will appear to apply the change immediately. Click the "OK" button.
