      Kathy Vosburg was re-elected in November 2006 to a third two-year term representing the residents of District 25, which includes most of Chesterfield Township. 

      Vosburg, 56, has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Detroit College of Business (now Davenport University) and owns an income tax consulting business.

      Vosburg is a volunteer reader to students at her neighborhood elementary school, serves on the boards of directors of several organizations, including Compassion Pregnancy Centers of Macomb.

      She was recently appointed to the Macomb County Community Mental Health Board and is a delegate to the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, serving on SEMCOG's Community & Economic Development Advisory Council and as chair of the organization's Environmental Policy Advisory Committee.

      Vosburg is a member of the Michigan Association of Counties Tax and Legislation Committee and serves as the MAC appointee to the Michigan Public Safety Frequency Advisory Committee

      She volunteers as the area representative for Youth for Understanding, an international student exchange organization, and is a member of the Chesterfield Township Historical Society and the Anchor Bay Rotary Club.

      Vosburg also is a member of the board of directors of the Michigan chapter of the National Association of Tax Professionals.

      Born in Zeeland, Mich., Vosburg and her husband Duane have three adult sons.
