The Board of Commissioners uses the committee system to bring recommendations before the Full Board each month for formal action. There are seven standing committees, each of which are responsible for a particular area of county government. Actions by all committees are subject to the approval of the Full Board.

The public is invited to attend all board and committee meetings and the public is given an opportunity to speak at each meeting. Full Board Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room on the 9th Floor of the County Administration Building (unless otherwise noted). For all meeting dates, please click on our calendar page.
