MACOMB COUNTY RESIDENTS
TO RECEIVE 2004 ANNUAL REPORT

Macomb County, Michigan……The Macomb County Board of Commissioners has completed work on the 2004 edition of The Macomb County Annual Report. Residents can expect the 36-page publication to arrive in their mailboxes in the next three weeks.
“The Annual Report is just one of the ways that the Board of Commissioners keeps Macomb County residents updated on the financial status of our county,” says Board Chairwoman Nancy White. “In it, readers will find information about the programs and services that the county offers, as well as the achievements of county departments and projects.” White added, “We are especially pleased to report that Macomb County recently received a AAA bond rating from Standard & Poor’s. Combined with our existing rating of Aaa from Moody’s Investors Service, residents can be particularly confident that the county is fiscally sound and well managed.”
The Annual Report also provides quick reference to county programs that have a direct impact on our residents, our environment and the local economy. Information about special services for children, senior citizens, job seekers and businesses is also included.
The cover of this year’s report features a spectacular photograph of Lake St. Clair taken by local resident Diane Miller. The report will be delivered to Macomb County residents by the first week in June.
