MACOMB COUNTY SEEKING
WW II VETERAN FOR COMMISSION SEAT


	Macomb County, Michigan……The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for an upcoming vacancy on the Macomb County Veterans Affairs Commission.  Applicants must be a resident of Macomb County and be a World War II veteran.
	The Commission along with the Macomb County Department of Veterans Services provides a wide variety of benefits to Macomb County veterans including:  educational and vocational rehabilitation, non-service pension assistance, service related claims, dependency and indemnity compensation and burial assistance.
	Any WW II veteran residing in Macomb County who would like more information or would like to serve on the Commission can contact the Veterans Service office at (586) 469-5315.
	Applications are available online at www.macombcountymi.gov, then Board of Commissioners, then Application for Appointment.  The deadline for applications is 5 pm., Friday, July 23, 2004.
