Community development services Group

Macomb County Department of Planning & Economic Development will administer $9.8 million dollars in Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funding from the U. S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to stem the tide of foreclosure and abandonment in Macomb County. This program will help qualified families buy and repair foreclosed and abandoned homes in 21 communities, focusing on Center Line, Eastpointe, and Mt. Clemens, but excluding Roseville, St. Clair Shores, Sterling Heights, and Warren, and Clinton Township, which have, or will shortly, receive their own grants.
The County’s NSP was approved by the County’s Board of Commissioners on November 20, 2008 and by HUD on February 13, 2009. You can contact the NSP hotline at (586) 469-6285 or e-mail: Federal.NSP@macombcountymi.gov
