Proud Equestrian Program (PEP) Committee: This group organizes a therapeutic riding program that reaches out to youth with disabilities. If you are interested in helping organize this program, call 586-469-6431.

Proud Equestrian Program (PEP)
PEP is a therapeutic riding program that reaches out to youth ages 5-26 with disabilities.  A certified instructor helps to develop riders' physical and mental abilities.

Riders: Horseback riding is a high risk activity. Therefore, to participate in the Michigan 4-H Proud Equestrian Program all riders must submit the following completed forms before they can be considered for riding instruction.

• Rider Registration and Emergency Treatment Form
• Release of Liability Form
• Media Release Form
• Physician's Referral Form
• Physical/Occupational Therapist and/or Teacher Assessment Form
• Down Syndrome Rider Evaluation Form (when applicable)

Volunteers: All volunteers in Michigan 4-H PEP must complete the following forms annually
