NEW for the 2009-10 Academic Year!!

Participants in the 2009-10 Green Schools Program can:

• Earn “Green,” “Emerald” or “Evergreen” status.
• Choose from new, additional environmental points and activity options
• Access a forum to share ideas about the Green Schools Program
• Find even more helpful resources

The Michigan Green Schools Program is a fun, educational initiative which encourages students to participate in activities that are good for the environment and promote energy efficiency and savings.

Forty-four Macomb County schools have already earned Official Green School status. These schools now have the option of achieving a higher designation level of “Emerald” or “Evergreen.”
