Macomb County MSU Extension 4-H Youth Mentor Program

State University Extension 4-H Youth Mentor volunteers receive 8 hours of training and provide one on one mentoring services to youth ages 10-16 referred by the Macomb County Juvenile Court. Adult mentors are needed to meet once per week with youth. Mentors provide friendship support, and positive role modeling. They may engage the youth in formal education and / or recreational activities. In addition, volunteers and youth attend monthly life skills training and support group meetings at MSUE offices in Clinton Twp.
