for PPO website

On behalf of Turning Point Inc. and those who believe that all people have the right to a violence-free life, I thank Macomb County Clerk Carmella Sabaugh and her staff for their help creating the new Personal Protection Order Assistance Center website

Years ago, Sabaugh and others joined to get a state grant to help fund and establish the PPO Center. Funds come from fines and penalties levied against criminals. The PPO Center helps citizens properly complete PPO forms so court staff can efficiently process them and judges can determine whether to issue a PPO. A PPO is a judge's order to stop threats or violence.

We have been working 30 years to end violence by providing counseling, support, advocacy and a safe haven. We are committed to improving the lives of victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
