E-Macomb
progress through partnerships

The Macomb MSU Extension, in partnership with MCPED, is hosting the Citizen Planner Program beginning Thursday, April 10, 2008.
With land and water a precious features in southeast Michigan, protection of these natural resources is critical to maintaining our quality of life. The Citizen Planner Program will provide community leaders and citizens with tools to make decisions about growth and development. The seven-week program is open to all residents interested in learning about all aspects of planning and zoning that can impact development.
The cost for the program is $385 and includes presentations by local experts and MSU specialists, a resource notebook, supplies and refreshments. Significant discounts are available for communities registering four or more participants. Scholarships may be available by contacting your community's insurance carrier. For those unable to commit to the entire series, it is also possible to attend individual sessions. For more information contact Terry Gibb at 586-469-6430 or gibb@msu.edu
