As fully 95 percent of the businesses in Macomb County are defined as a “small business” (one that employs fewer than 50 people) it is among the Macomb County Department of Planning & Economic Development’s core responsibilities to provide assistance to the small businesses owners and entrepreneurs who are the foundation of our local economy.

The SBTDC’s four key service areas are Training, Counseling, Research and Advocacy. To these ends, classes and workshops, confidential one-on-one business consultation, the benefit of vast research and data resources, and support locally, regionally and nationally on the issues that most affect your bottom line --- all are found at the Macomb County Small Business and Technology Center.
