Well and Septic Maintenance Seminar

The Well and Septic Maintenance Seminar helps residents protect the health of their family and the quality of groundwater.  A faulty well and septic system can not only threaten a family's health, but also lower property value, harm pets and wildlife and contaminate groundwater.  Protecting and maintaining a household water system is as simple as following a few guidelines.  Seminar topics include well construction and maintenance, water conservation, how a septic functions, septic system maintenance, how to detect septic system failure and an overview of the Home*A*Syst (Home Assessment System) program.

Macomb County Extension and the Macomb County Health Department are offering a well and septic management seminar.  For more information, call (586) 469-6430.
