NEW BLUE ECONOMY SEMINAR

On Friday, September 17, 2010, approximately 150 local community representatives, business leaders and interested citizens attended the Reinventing Southeast Michigan:  How to be Part of the New Blue Economy Conference held at the Macomb Community College Lorenzo Cultural Center.  Speakers from around the country and Michigan spoke on the importance of protecting, restoring and utilizing our water resources to revitalize our local economy.  Matt Roush,WWJ Radio, moderated the conference and offered the following comments on the day's events:
