The primary goal of the Healthy Kids / MIChild outreach program is to locate pregnant women and families of children who are potentially eligible for Healthy Kids (Medicaid)/MIChild and assist them in the Medicaid application process. Simple eligibility criteria apply and applications are taken by appointment only. Both programs also stress the importance of using health care coverage for preventive services.  There is no cost for services.
