TITLE V PROGRAM
Title V, Senior Community Service Employment Program provides part-time work (average 19 hours per week) and job training in community service agencies for those who qualify (low income and 55 years of age and older). Enrollees can learn new skills and enhance previous skills while working at the Senior Services Center, Adult Day Services or other agencies.

DISCOUNT CARD
The Macomb County Senior Citizen Discount Card Program is offered to retired or semi-retired residents of Macomb County age 60 and older. The card may be used for possible discounts at different businesses. For information please Call: 586-469-6327 or 586-469-6826

LOAN CLOSET
Small medical equipment, such as; canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs etc.are available for Macomb County senior citizens for short term use. Other equipment, such as, walkers and canes are free.

9-1-1 CELLULAR PHONES
The department accepts donations of inactive cellular phones with charger and battery in good condition to be used in connection with the 911 Phone Redistribution Program.
Donated cell phones are made available to seniors of Macomb County who wish to have a 911 Emergency Phone for safety reasons. Call: 586-469-6313.
FOCUS HOPE
Free food boxes for eligible homebound seniors (age 60 and older) once a month.

If a senior is able to drive they must apply for Focus Hope through Macomb County Community Services Agency to pick up the food commodities at an Action Center.
Proof of age and income is required. A valid social security number and identification is needed as well as the number of people in the household.
ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES FOOD PROGRAM
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief throughout the United States. There are no qualifications, minimums, income restrictions, or applications. Each month's menu is different and consists of both fresh & frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60. Generally, one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The cost to you is only $30.00.
