The Senior Citizen Services Help For Hire Program is a referral service available to senior citizens of  Macomb County  who are 60 years and older.

* For senior citizens the program offers a list of referrals of individual workers.  Each list may contain anywhere from 10 to 60 different individual workers who will assist seniors with odd jobs.

 ** These workers are self employed individuals who work part time.   We have requested these individual workers to reduce their fees ($8 to $10 Hr.)  for senior citizens of Macomb County.  For workers there is a $10 processing and updating fee to join the referral list.

These workers are not Macomb County employees.  The Macomb County Department of Senior Citizen Services does not endorse or screen these individuals.  It is the responsibility of the employer (senior, caregiver, etc.)  to interview, screen, check references, etc. before hiring.
