Exposure to Ionizing Radiation


Which covers World War II Veterans exposed to Ionizing Radiation while serving in Hiroshima or Nagasaki, Japan between August 6, 1945 and July 1, 1946. This also includes former Prisoners or War in Japan and also peacetime veterans exposed to Nuclear Detonation Device.

 

 

Conditions Associated with Ionizing Radiation Exposure

  • Cancer of the Bile Ducts
  • Cancer of the Bone
  • Cancer of the Brain
  • Cancer of the Breast
  • Cancer of the Colon
  • Cancer of the Esophagus
  • Cancer of the Gall Bladder
  • Cancer of the Liver (except if Cirrhosis is indicated)
  • Cancer of the Lung
  • Cancer of the Lymphomas (except for Hodgkin’s Disease)
  • Cancer of Multiple Myeloma
  • Cancer of the Ovaries
  • Cancer of the Pancreas
  • Cancer of the Pharynx
  • Cancer of the Salivary Glands
  • Cancer of the Small Intestines
  • Cancer of the Stomach
  • Cancer of the Thyroid
  • Cancer of the Urinary Tract
